General conditions of use of the online store

The final confirmation of the order by the User is equivalent to the full and complete acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale as well as the General Conditions of Sale.

1.       Commercial policy

a)       By accepting these conditions, the user of the online platform assumes that he / she has read and accepted the conditions presented by online Christian Bookshop.

b)      These conditions are governed by the law in the Republic of Ireland in force for online trading business transactions.

2.       Order and purchase conditions

b)      Before buying any product or service the customer should check the characteristics of each product or service presented on each product page.

c)       Before finalizing the purchase it is necessary that the user accepts the Terms and Conditions and upon accepting verifies that they have read it and accepted the conditions presented by the online store Christian Bookshop.

d)      The purchase only becomes effective when the customer makes the payment through the chosen method, and in the case the customer makes the payment by bank transfer it is necessary to place the order number in the reference, and for their order to be processed quickly the customer can send the proof of the order by email to

e)      Christian Bookshop reserves the right not to accept any order without the need to justify why it did so. If this situation occurs Christian Bookshop will notify the customer by email and make a full payment repayment within a maximum of two business days.

3.       Means of payment and prices

a)       Christian Bookshop offers several forms of payment, and it is up to the client to choose the best option for them. At the end of the purchase, Christian Bookshop will present the options available at that moment to finalize the purchase. b)      All transactions are made via encrypted connections ensuring that no one accesses your payment data.

c)       All prices in the shop already have all the expected tax burdens for customers residing within the European community.

d)      If the purchase is made for a country outside the European Community, there may be a need to pay customs fees to be applied through the respective governmental body of that country.

e)      Christian Bookshop reserves the right to change its prices without having to notify its customers that it has. The prices displayed at the time of purchase are the prices applied to that purchase. Normally during the year, we have promotional campaigns, our registered clients in our platform will be notified of these campaigns.

f)        All our prices have as reference the euro currency, if the customer does not use euros, the payment by bank transfer must be made to the total value in euros, if it is performed through a payment gateway the systems themselves make the conversion soon.

4.       Means of transport

a)       Christian Bookshop offers several means of transportation.

b)      It is the responsibility of the customer to choose the means by which their products will be delivered at the address registered in the purchase. Each chosen medium has a price depending on the service provided.

c)       Christian Bookshop is not liable in case the customer has entered an incorrect address or lack of information that doesn’t enable the delivery of the purchased items

d)      In case of return to the origin of any product, by any means of transport for reasons of wrong or insufficient address, the customer may have to pay for the shipment again.

e)      Christian Bookshop is not responsible for the delays of shipping companies.

f)        Christian Bookshop is not responsible for delays due to adverse weather conditions, strikes, wars or riots or other abnormal situations that occur between the time of purchase and delivery at the address chosen by the customer.

5.       Return and cancellation

a)       The cancellation can be made by the customer until the moment the product is sent, from that moment it is not possible to cancel.

b)      The customer has the right to return the product within a maximum period of 14 working days from the date of shipment.

c)       The customer may return a product that does not correspond to the one chosen or that has some type of defect within a maximum period of 14 working days from the date of shipment of the product. In the event of a defect, once the customer returns it to the origin, another one will be sent in perfect condition and the customer will not have to bear the shipping costs. The same applies in cases where the customer has received a product that does not match the one chosen.

d)      All returned products must be in the original packaging, only exchanges of products in open packages of articles that have a manufacturing defect will be accepted.

e)      Refunds will be made based on the form of payment made. The customer will receive the refund after the product (s) have been returned and processed and the integrity of the product has been confirmed.

f)        Returns of products such as DVD, CD or software in which the packages have been opened are not accepted.

g)       For reasons of hygiene and food safety, any food product cannot be returned.

6.       Change of Terms & Conditions.

Christian Bookshop has the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time. The customer is subject to the principles and terms in force at the time of ordering, unless the law or competent authority imposes any change to them.

7.       Information available on the site

a)       All the content presented in the online platform is checked with the utmost care so that it does not contain any type of errors, however there may be some type of error for which cannot be held liable, all errors found can be reported by email

b)      Some of the images present on the site are merely illustrative and serve the customer better identify the final product, and some products may have no illustrative image.
